Terms of use

To preserve a quality and presentable look of your instrument and its playability, please, abide the following operating recommendations and storage conditions. When transporting or storing the instrument, a gig bag or a hard-shell case should be used in order to prevent damage caused by mechanical shock or temperature change. A guitar is a delicate, fine instrument. Take good care of your instrument and use it according to the goal it was built for.

Protect your instrument from extreme low and high temperature, rapid fluctuations of temperature and also from extreme humidity and humidity fluctuations. While traveling, make sure to let the instrument adapt to new humidity and temperature conditions by letting it "sit" in the case, until the temperature of the case and instrument will be the same as in the premise.

Do not expose the instrument to direct sunlight for long periods of time. Disregard of the above rules may or may not result in loss of warranty.

Warranty conditions

10s Guitars warrants solely to the Original purchaser of 10s Guitars musical instrument that the instrument purchased is free from defects in materials and parts, it is reliable and functional under normal use.

This Limited Warranty does not apply to:

  • - Identified wear and tear or breakage of frets, strings, nuts, saddle, batteries, etc., other damage or traces of use due to normal wear and tear of the instrument or its parts, or to normal wear and tear or breakage of any part of an instrument, including, but not limited to controls, switches, jacks, plated or painted surfaces, tuning devices, pickguards or finish, or to any instrument case, or its parts and finish;
  • - Identified defects or damage caused by modification, misuse, abandonment, abuse, accidents, acts of nature, or improper maintenance of the instrument or its parts (10s Guitars reserves the exclusive right to make such a conclusion of misuse, modification, or abuse based on inspection by 10s Guitars of its representatives);
  • - Involvement of subjective matters like personal points of view, opinions or judgments, including subjective thoughts regarding tonal characteristics of the instrument or grain pattern or colors of woods;
  • - Identified defects or damage to an instrument such as cracks, splitting, or warping of wood or damage to the instrument’s finish caused by accident or exposure to changes in or extreme fluctuations of temperature or humidity, exposure to sunlight, moisture, body salts or acids, guitar straps, or guitar stands or hangers, which could potentially cause harm to the instrument;
  • - Defects identified by any purchaser, who did not purchase the instrument from 10s Guitars or official representator;
  • - Electrical components not manufactured by 10s Guitars;
  • - Setups, adjustments, or any routine maintenance.

Limitations of obligations

THE OBLIGATIONS OF 10S GUITARS HEREUNDER ARE LIMITED TO REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF PARTS – PARTIAL REFUND, OR REPLACEMENT OF AN INSTRUMENT ITSELF, IN CASE 10S GUITARS DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE FOR DEFECTIVE NATURE OF ORIGINAL PURCHASER’S INSTRUMENT, UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. IN NO EVENT SHALL VALIANT GUITARS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO TIME, WAGES, LOST PROFITS, OF ANY NATURE OR KIND, OR FOR DAMAGES TO OR LOSS OF PROPERTY OR POSSESSIONS, MORAL AND PSYCOLOGICAL DAMAGES.

10S Guitars reserves the right to refine or improve its instruments, making mechanical and electrical refinements, without incurring any responsibility to modify or exchange any products purchased prior to such modifications.

The Limited Warranty set forth herein constitutes the entire warranty and representation of 10S Guitars with regard to the 10S Guitars products identified in the preceding paragraph.

This Limited Warranty shall be controlling over any conflicting terms and conditions of any purchase orders, contracts or invoices which may be executed in connection with the purchase of any 10S Guitars musical instrument or related products.

Claim procedure

In the event of malfunction of your 10S Guitars instrument, you should contact 10S Guitars headquarters directly. The Owner must ship the instrument in the original condition with original packaging, freight and insurance prepaid, to the 10S Guitars headquarters while providing written and photographic description of the defect nature;

- Original purchaser has a right to claim the refund for the instrument during 14 days after its arrival to the Original purchaser. The Original purchaser must ship the instrument in the original condition with original packaging, freight and insurance prepaid, to the 10S Guitars headquarters;

- Evidence confirming the original acquisition by Original purchaser (such as a copy of the sales invoice or receipt);

- The name, address and phone number of the Original purchaser, to whom the instrument is to be returned.

NO INSTRUMENT MAY BE SUBJECTED TO CLAIM WITHOUT SUCH PRIOR RETURN AUTHORIZATION.
